Blogmas 2017 - Vol. 17

From Non-Belly to Belly Mama

It's so appropriate that 2 years ago I was writing about being a non-belly mama to my daughter...

https://blooblogg.blogspot.com/2015/12/blogmas-vol17.html

My dream of becoming a belly mama has come true.  So now SP and I have been on both sides and what an amazing journey it's been. In some ways nothing has changed, in others everything has changed in the most amazing ways.

I'm still a non belly mama and I'm a belly mama.

Mostly I'm just a mama.

Some people say they feel a difference with their biological kid.  I honestly don't.  I think maybe if somebody told me that I had some sort of amnesia and had actually carried my daughter as well I might believe them.  Nature and nurture are so weird.  Because sometimes my daughter is a carbon copy of my wife.  And sometimes I swear she somehow inherited my DNA through osmosis or something.

But through it all I'm still over here wiping noses and butts.  I'm still over here kissing boo boo's and fixing broken toys.  I'm still making food they won't eat and doing laundry in an endless loop (it NEVER ends).  I'm still giving a million hugs and singing the same songs over and over and over. I'm still laughing at their crazy antics and melting at their sweetness.

I think I always thought I would give birth to all of my children. And I really did.  One came from my belly and one came straight from my heart.

Clearly the universe has unfolded exactly as it was meant to...

Blogmas 2017 - Vol. 12

6 Months With Little Buddy

I can't believe that it's already been 6 months since this little one made his way into this world. (His birth story is coming still I promise.)

Little Buddy is the snuggliest, smiliest kid I ever did see.  He is 20lbs of chunky love. Tomorrow is his 6mo appointment, and I can't wait to see his stats - he's just a big ol' squish.

His favorite things as of late are:
-putting everything in his mouth
-putting everything in his mouth
and oh yeah
-putting everything in his mouth ;)

Jk, but that is probably top of the list.

Favorites
-chomping on all the things
-mama milk - and a lot of it
-the exersaucer
-tv, kid will CRANK his head around to see a screen if he can
-his sister
-his moms
-his friends at daycare (they LOVE baby "donah")
-trying to grab the dog
-rolling like a rolly polly

Dislikes
-rice cereal...just does not seem to care
-the fact that he can not crawl yet
-being left alone for too long
-being made to wait for the mama milk
-seriously...that's it, and I had to really think for those.

Generally little buddy is a super mellow guy.  He has the best laugh - and he shares it frequently.  He sleeps a full night and still takes 2-3naps a day. He does wonderfully at daycare and is loved within an inch of his life.  He can't quite sit up yet - but he's definitely trying (his head is so big!)  He loves trying to eat his feet but his big belly sometimes gets in the way.

We're so lucky you decided to join our family!  We love you little buddy!

Blogmas 2017 - Vol 6

When you are fertility challenged (we don't like the term infertile) sometimes when you get pregnant it's hard to enjoy it at the beginning.  Sometimes you spend a lot of time being afraid that the other shoe will drop and the dream will go out the window. So there are a lot of things I didn't put out into the world when I was pregnant - but I really want to remember them.  So sorry for all the travels back in time that are coming...

11/21/16

How far along? 11 weeks

How big is baby? Lime

Total weight gain/loss: Up from IVF meds, down since pregnancy; I'm not weighing myself at all honestly.

Maternity clothes? Starting the belly bands/ my pants are a little too small but the maternity pants are a little too bit - its a weird place.

Sleep: I've always been a crappy sleeper. Still true. Peeing at least once in the middle of the night.  And my back side is still pretty sore from IVF injections (that end next week!!!)

Best moment this week: Seeing baby pineapple looking big and like a real gummy bear baby!

Movement: Don't think so - Gas ;)

Food cravings: Ugh nothing, feeling crappy again.  The morning sickness got better around 9wks and now I just feel off all the time again. I eat a lot of toast and pretzels and grilled cheese sandwhiches.

Food Aversions: Eggs and most meat. And a lot of everything else depending on the moment.

Gender: Pretty sure we aren't finding out the SEX until the little thing comes out. I'm guessing we won't find out the gender until they are in their teens ;)
Pregnancy Symptoms:  Morning/ all day sickness. Bloaty/gassy (i'm so cute right now) Headaches on and off. Super tired!

What I miss: Definitely the occasional cocktail. And sushi.  And weirdly I've been wanting salami like crazy lately!

What I am looking forward to: Making it to the 2nd trimester. And finish progesterone in oil shots - because my backside is a war zone!

Upcoming appointments/events: Ultrasound screening appt next week and then midwife appt shortly after.

Milestones: Approaching the end of the first trimester!  Can't believe it!

I think this was actually 6 or 8 wks

There's a baby in there!

Blogmas 2017 - Vol. 4

When I was on my (way too long) blogging hiatus, I started (and even finished) several posts.  And they are sitting there in my drafts just wasting away.  So here's a snapshot from almost a year ago!

2/22/17

Rantings of a tired (mommy) blogger

Being pregnant and parenting a toddler is a doozy my friends.  One that has kept me away from this space for a long long time.  I truly miss it.  I really miss getting my thoughts out of my head and having an adult (ish) processing space.  I mean in general I miss being an adult most of the time.

My days are consumed by toddler toast and necklaces and baby dolls and snot and diaper changes.  And then they are consumed by graduate students (adult toddlers?).  And after that if I have anything left it goes to the wife and the dog.  And the friends.

And staying awake past 7:30pm these days is really challenging.  But I feel like I'm really missing out on recording this pregnancy and what is going on with our family (since God knows it ain't getting recorded anywhere else...the 2 pages of baby girls baby book that are filled out can attest to that!)

Weirdly not having time to find pictures really holds me back - like it's not a real post if I don't put pictures?  So I think I'm just going to start posting my word babble and then if I can finally get some pictures in here again that will just be an extra bonus.

So here's what's going on these days:

-Our daughter turned 2 years old.
-She is an amazon.  She is nearly in 4T clothes.  She's in the 99th percentile for height and the 90-something for weight (very proportional)  She is just enormous!
-98% of the time she is an absolutely joy.  Her littler personality is just exploding.  She is super duper talkative, she has a lot of ideas and thoughts, and she loves to play with baby dolls and animals and absolutely ADORES going to the park.  (She asks EVERY SINGLE DAY to go!)
- I am nearly 25 wks pregnant.  How that happened I have no idea.  It honestly took me until almost 20wks to feel more secure and not fearful.  Infertility PTSD is a thing.
- This kid, who's sex will again be a surprise, is kicking and rolling like crazy.  It is the coolest and most surreal feeling ever.
-I'm exhausted all the time - have I mentioned that recently?
-I'm also blowing up like a balloon.  I was so ick in the beginning that apparently once I started feeling better I went insane.  So I'm trying to reign it in and keep exercising. While simultaneously not going to the crazy insane worrying about everything I put in my mouth place.  It's a balance.
-The election and political climate threw me into a real emotional tailspin.  I still feel very uncentered and scared most of the time. Especially thinking about the world we've created for my daughter and this babe inside of me.  What will things look like in June? I'm so scared that SP won't have legal access to this kid.  And I'm super fearful that we will lose the rights we worked so hard to gain...
-That being said - I have to shut it all off sometimes because honestly it's too much. Some days all I can focus on is trying to help mold a kind child - in hopes that the work we do at home will make a difference in this world.  That and just trying to muster every bit of kindness and love I can give to those around me.
-The dog is still nuts.  She's 6 years old and still insanely energetic.  She also has decided she loves the smell and taste of crayons.  Needless to say her poop is now orange...
-Our house is a hot mess most of the time (at least in terms of my anal standards).  We are paying the house keeper to come 2x a month these days and it still probably the best money I've ever spent.  I love her in an awkward slightly too much way.
-We're getting ready for a (much needed) get away down south soon.  We are going to leave baby girl with the grandparents and escape just the 2 of us for a few days.  I seriously can't wait.  I just want to stare at the ocean and not be obligated to be anywhere at any specific time.  A massage wouldn't be out of the question either ;)

I think that's it for the moment.  More to come.  Hopefully one of these days it won't be in bullet form - but not promises.

10 x 3

Today is my 30th birthday.

3 decades of riding around on this planet. 10,950 days of waking up in this beautiful world.
Birthday Girl and my AMAZING CAKE!
I know many of you are thinking...you're a baby.  And many of you are thinking...OLD LADY. Me?  I'm thinking...lucky me!  I have had the joy and privilege of making it this far!

I have to say... this little life of mine thus far has been quite the grand adventure. I have been extremely privileged to travel and experience and see and do so many things.

Party Animals!

Turning 30 does make me think though.

It does remind me that time is passing. And that I need to spend as much time as I have left making it count. I still desperately want to leave my mark on this world in my own small ways. I still have dreams and want to make them real. I want to see as much of this gorgeous planet as I possibly can. I want to learn more, be kinder, be more generous, grow grow grow - because what else are we here for?

One of my friends once said something along the lines that our job here on earth is to gently and with kindness love those around us into their best selves. And I couldn't agree more.  And in the process won't we also love ourselves into our best selves?

Today also happens to be, for many Christian religions - The Epiphany.  It marks the end of the 12 days of Christmas and is a celebration of the Magi's visit to the Christ child. The 3 wise men found this child by following a Star across a desert.

I've always liked that my birthday fell on this holy day. I know in historical reality it all likely happened in March and who knows what actually happened.  But the celebration of following the light...that is something I can most definitely get behind.

I think that is what I've realized after 3 X 10. I AM here for a very important reason. And having this baby girl in my life has brought this privilege and work right out into the bright light. We really do have much work to do. And 30 year old Sarah is ready for that kind of work. To make me, my best self - and hopefully love those around me with as much brilliance as I can manage - because when you light people up - their beauty and joy and gifts can't be hidden.

So I've decided, 30 year old Sarah, she will be following the light - just like the wise men before her!

Because who knows what's under that star...

XOXOX

Goodbye Hello - On Being In It in 2016

Oh 2015...you were quite the epic year.

January

I celebrated my 29th birthday (oh yes...that does in fact mean the big 3-0 is coming rapidly) and we prepped for Baby Girl.  And that's about all we did.

February

Baby Girl is BORN!  We find out she is in fact baby girl. We find out SP is a BEAST of a woman. My dream baby has finally made her way to me. I basically cry all the time.

March
No blogging in March.  Probably because I've never been so tired in my entire life. The first month of baby girl's life is a DOOZY. SP and I fight our way through it...but it is HARD!

April
We are finally starting to get our footing.  I take a few minutes and tell the story of the day I was reborn as a Mother. I also take some time to write my first love letter to baby girl.  We also talked AGAIN about how #lovecan'twait

May
Another lost month. Probably because SP goes back to work this month.  I spend a week off with my girl and then we transition her into day care. SP and I are still exhausted and still trying to figure out what in the world we're doing.

June
I talk about how we took baby girl to my parent's house when she was 6 weeks old (yay flying with a newborn!) And we also dressed baby girl up for the first time! Also MARRIAGE EQUALITY PASSES in the US!

July
Not so much with the writing still.  However I recap how in June we took baby girl across the country to celebrate the life of my grandmother. We talk about how baby girl started solids at just 4 months old. In June, we also celebrated one Best Friend's big 3-0. And another Best Friend comes from across the country to visit :)

August
I talk about how having a baby has sucked away all of my time and I no longer have any hobbies or any free time (what even is that?!) We also go to the Pear Fair which is basically the cutest thing ever!

September
Another letter to baby girl and basically that's all I can manage this month! We're fresh off a week with the grandparents though which was super nice!

October
Another lost month in terms of blogging. It was baby girl's first Halloween :) And Apple Orchard time! Yum! Sadly we lost SP's grandparents at the end of this month and Baby Girl went on her first looonnnggg roadtrip to Utah to say goodbye to her namesake and meet many many of her relatives.

November
Pictures from October! Including the Dread Pirate herself! And my parents come to visit again!  And we take Grandma to the Apple Orchards again!

December
In December I straight up lose my mind and decide to blog every day until Christmas. I write about everything from Thanksgiving to starting bootcamp to how much I love my SP!  I also wrote about our beautiful tree Harriet and our crazy dogo and another letter to baby girl.  I talked about how sometimes things are just stinkin hard. One of my most favorite blogmas blogs however was about being a non-belly mama and how treasured and real that role is. Another important one was about how we must help our suffering brothers and sisters fleeing in the middle east (you can still help!!!) And then it was Christmas! And what a beautiful day it was indeed! If nothing else it pushed me out of my writing rut!

And here we are now - 2015 was an epic year. It was my mama-birth year as my beautiful girl barreled into this world and changed everything. And our hearts grew more than 3 sizes the day she came to us and they've been growing ever since - as has she. Learning to be a mama and how to love and care and grow with this little monster baby has consumed us completely. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

So 2016 - what are we going to do with you? That is the question. Sure I have a list of resolutions I could come up with. Many related to being healthy or changing my body. (The healthy has become even more important to me, I have to say, in hopes of being around as long as humanly possible for this little one who has stolen my heart.) I'm sure I could come up with plenty of goals about finances and cleanliness and organization. And in reality, many of those lists/details are floating around in my mind - things I'm sure I will think about as we progress through another trip around the sun.

But overall I want only one thing this coming year - one big hope for myself:

To be Present.

I just want to not miss it, you know? This precious time I have on this planet. These sacred moments as I watch my girl grow and the time I get to spend with the love of my life. I want to see it all and know it all and be in it all. I want to stop getting stuck in the crappy little details of each day and I want nothing to do with the busy trap that keeps taking hold. I want to spend all the time I'm wasting worrying about stupid, insignificant things on much more important things like trips to the park, and baby smiles, and hugs from my wife. Because I'm pretty sure at the end of the day, at the end of my life - those are the things I'm going to remember. And if this past year is any indication of how sweepingly quickly the time really does go - then I've got to dig my heels in and do everything in my power to slow it down and not blink and not miss any perfect moment. Don't get me wrong - I know there will be bad days, or bad moments - but I just don't want to miss any of it. I don't want to be lost in my own panicked mind when I could be right here - living it all!

So here we are - 2016, you have some mighty shoes to fill!

And to you, my friends, out there in the interwebs and the world - I wish you love and light and hope! Happy New Year and Happy New You!

Be Brave!

I Love You!
-Sarah

Blogmas Vol. 24

What a difference a year makes!

This time last year my family was up north and we were sitting around in our little house, celebrating Christmas and waiting for a long anticipated child.  She, like a little child many years ago, was much anticipated and waited for.  And who we knew would change our world.

And has she ever!

We may be a little more ragged and a little more worse for the wear some days - but Baby Girl has wrapped us up in her. She is joy and wonder and light and we truly are forever changed.

So tonight, while I write, from the comfort of a warm bed, I think of another mother - my homegirl Mary. She is the constant from all of my catholic upbringing. She is the Auntie I pray to when I can't sleep. And now she is the model of true hero - scared and vulnerable and given wholly unto a child. And somehow, I understand a little more what that means. To give yourself over to someone so small. To stand vulnerably in front of this person, this spirit you are supposed to mold and guide - who all along, you suspect is likely molding and guiding you more than you are her.

I can't imagine what it must have been like for mother Mary back then - talk about pressure! Because in relative comfort and safety I feel the pressure of bringing up this child in front of me in this big scary world we live in now.  I worry about this world I've brought her into. How I can teach her to be kind and loving. How she, in her own small ways, can change this world we live in for the better. How I can help her to see, she too, can be the light.

And when it all seems like too much - this great responsibility - I hum the lyrics to my favorite Christmas song "Breath of Heaven" and think of Warrior Mary out there in the darkness - bringing us great light!

Do you wonder as you watch my face
If a wiser one one should have had my place
But I offer all I am
For the mercy of your plan

Merry Christmas Eve my friends - especially to my fellow Warrior Mamas out there, who come in every shape and size and situation - you bring the light!

Blogmas Vol. 22 - Let There Be LIGHT

If you only read one of my blog posts, I hope it's this one...

You
http://thecompassioncollective.org/

Oh my friends.  It is that time of year when the darkness sets in.  When my gorgeous sun sets at 3:30pm. In fact it is the darkest day of the year.  When all I want to do is hibernate and snuggle up and be warm. And it has been raining here, just to add to the darkness. So also all I want is to be dry.

And the lucky thing is - I get to do that. I get to wear warm clothes every day. I get to go home (and immediately rip off  my pants) and snuggle up with my loved ones. I get to be safe and warm and dry. And not worry about where my next meal is coming from and whether or not I'm safe at the moment. I get to snuggle my sweet wife and my adorable baby and know that we are more than ok.

And yet, right now, in this very moment, on the other side of the world, there are babies being pulled out of a dark, frigid ocean. There are mamas carrying their babies thousands and thousands of miles to escape certain death. They are starving, and freezing, and their bodies are literally rotting from the rain. They are living in a continual state of darkness - figuratively and literally.

And the thing is, all of us, sitting here in our cushy situations (and they are cushy in comparison regardless of how much you are struggling right now) we can do more. In what we all like to refer to as the season of giving - we have more to give to these people who are only hoping to be safe, and dry, and fed.  And we are the ones who can do it. We can light up the dark!!! We can buy one less gift or one less coffee and instead give someone a pair of socks, or a coat, or a warm meal.

Because if you call yourself a Christian, I'm pretty sure there are some specific instructions on this type of thing. And if you call yourself a decent human being - there are also some pretty easy tenants to be followed in this scenario.

100% of donations go directly to refugee humanitarian aid. There is NO overhead! That means your $5 can buy even more baby socks.

Because this world is full of darkness - but we can LIGHT IT UP!

You can read more about this project here: http://momastery.com/blog/
I dare you not to cry!

Merry Blogmas!

Dear Baby Girl - Vol. 2

Dear Baby Girl,

It's been awhile since I wrote to you - sorry about that.  It turns out that you take up A LOT of my time.  And yet there is never enough.  There is never enough time to snuggle you, or play with you or hold you.  I don't even mind changing your diapers all the time because it's another few mins we get to hang out.  And you always laugh as you wiggle around and try to eat your feet.

You're almost 7 months now sweet heart and I can't believe it.  You are one big baby girl - 17lbs 5oz at your last check up and your'e in the 98th percentile for height - you are going to be one tall chica! You're eating up a storm these days. Although every time we introduce a new food you definitely think we're trying to poison you. I know mashed peas taste like crap baby but apparently this is the kind of stuff we're supposed to expose you to. The faces you make when you try something new are the absolute best, most hysterical things I've ever seen. I especially like when you pretend like you're gagging. You've decided some food isn't poisonous though - sweet potatoes and carrots seem to be on the acceptable list.  Banana is borderline.  Peas are definitely a no-go.  You'd really prefer to feed yourself and I think you don't like mashed foods so we are toying with the idea of "baby led-weaning." Mama however is really terrified of you choking...so we'll see how that progresses.

You've also most definitely found your voice these days.  Mom calls you a baby pterodactyl. I love to hear your babbling and shrieking,  You only say mamamama when you are mad so I'm not so sure we can count it as your first word.  Sometimes you scream so loud that the poor dog cowers or cries.  When you wake up in the morning or after a nap you just babble away until someone comes to get you.  Most of the time you are a very low key baby (things you should never type out 101).  You play by yourself, you let us snuggle you up, and you are smiling like a big old cheese ball these days.

Lucky for you Grandma and Grandpa came to visit for a week recently.  Youre Uncle also came to play with you.  You were the center of attention for 1 whole week and you ate it up.  You loved reading books with grandpa and cheesin at grandma.  And you love to pull uncle's hair and grab his nose and feel his beard.  And they all seem pretty smitten with you too.  Although grandma and grandpa keep telling us how lucky we are that you're so good natured...I don't know, I think we can take some credit for that can't we?! ;)

I love you so much baby girl, I can't even believe it.  How can my heart possibly take any more? Every day is a new and beautiful discovery for you.  The smallest things are funny or interesting to you - thank you for giving us that window into this wondrous world we live in.  Your mom and I, we just can't believe we are lucky enough that you chose us to be your parents.  Thanks for making us an even more beautiful family!

Love,
Mama

A Big Ol' Slice of Life

I have so many things to catch up on that I'm going to revert to one of those dreaded bullet point blogs in hopes of getting myself caught up so that I can start doing the real deal in depth important (HA) blogs again soon (for my crappy memory's sake if nothing else)

So now in essentially no order here's what's been going on around here...

- Baby girl turned 4 months old and had her 4 month old check up appointment. She is in the 98th percentile for height and the 61st percentile for weight (although I don't know how that's possible because she's got some serious thigh rolls going). She's also in the 98th percentile for head size... big noggin big brains?!  We hope so!  The doc says its nothing to worry about at the moment - usually it's familial (yeah we're talking about you SP!)

- We already marked one thing off our summer bucket list (the list I made but haven't had a chance to post yet...coming soon even if we are a third of the way through the summer already) and took Baby girl swimming at the lake. It was amazing. I miss being by the ocean desperately (10 years later and I still actively miss it all the time) so SP took me to the next closest body of water - a lake -  and it was AMAZING.  It was super warm, because in case you hadn't noticed we're having some kind of crazy drought here in California.

- We also got baby girl in her first pool...she wasn't a huge fan, but it got better with time (might have been a touch too cold...sorry baby girl!)

- SP and I braved 5hr flights with Baby Girl to go to New York and celebrate my grandmother's life. She passed away this past winter but we waited until her birthday in June to celebrate the feisty and amazing spirit she was. It was a wonderful trip and I'm so glad to have been able to spend the time and have Baby Girl meet some of the extended family.  It was sad to say goodbye but it was amazing to see the legacy my grandmother created and the colorful life she lead.

- We got the go ahead to get baby girl started on rice cereal. She is a really really good eater and was definitely a fan of the food (although she couldn't seem to get enough in fast enough for her taste) We haven't had a chance to make it consistent at this point (with the traveling and what not) our plan is to get moving onto other food soon as well. 4.5 months seems early to me but the doc quickly pointed out that she's still getting most of her nutrition from milk, this is just to get her used to eating. And apparently there is some evidence showing that earlier "eating" develops better eating habits (which we are all for!)

 - In other eating news, I've been toying with the idea of going vegan at home. And am slowly moving us that direction. What exactly does that mean you ask...well basically you eat vegan when you eat at home but may choose to eat animal products when eating at others homes or eating out. It's mostly for health and environmental reasons. Its getting harder and harder to deny that eating less animal products seems to be better for your health. So I'll keep you posted about our vegan eating at home...

- At the beginning of June I celebrated my 2 year anniversary at my current job. I still truly love it.  I love my students. I adore the people I work with. Its flexible, fulfilling but also not so much that I feel like I'm drowning. Its still a surprise that one can feel this good at work...

- We also celebrated one of my closest friend's 30th birthdays. We've known each other almost 20 years and it was pretty incredible to celebrate having spent those decades together. We've seen each other through graduations, losing family, losing girlfriends, getting married, having babies - 2 decades of life witnessed together. How lucky am I?

- And to round  out the friend love - one of my other best friends came into town to visit. Baby girl got to meet one of her beautiful Aunties. Another fabulous woman who has witnessed a good 2 decades of my life. The problem however is that it made me miss her even more. Thank goodness for skype and email and airplanes.

- Oh right, and of course, marriage equality passed in the US. But I am still having a hard time celebrating when there is an absolute civil rights crisis occurring for our black brothers and sisters. More to come on this, much much more.

So that's the haps my people. I hope all is well in your corners of the world.  "See" you soon!

Besos,
Sarah

Look, everybody. Look who's back again.

I know I know, I'm one of those bloggers. You know the ones, who write all the time while they are trying to have a baby and then have one and go MIA.

But let me tell you what - this whole parenting nonsense, it's no joke.

It's only now, 3.5 months later do I feel like the fog is lifting and SP and I are starting starting to get into a groove. Don't get me wrong, I love it. I love every exhausting minute. But when I say I'm tired, I mean it. And I pretty much mean it all the time. Working full time and taking care of a baby and a house and a spouse - it's just really a lot a lot.

That being said, we're doing great!  Baby Girl (BG) is growing like a bean sprout and has started doing the most amazing things - smiling, shrieking, rolling.

When she was about 6 wks old we flew down to So-cal so BG could meet my Daddy (Gran-boo) and a lot of our Southern CA friends!

BG and Gran-Boo! BG wasn't a huge fan of meeting Mr. Gnomie...

BG on the "Nana" Blanket. My mom's friends trade it around when a
grandchild is born! She was the 2nd Nana of the group :)
3 Generations. No eyes. On the Nana Blanket
Baby's first beach trip!
The Fam! Just missing my bro :(
We went to a friend's Baptism which meant we had our first opportunity to get BG all dressed up. And also a chance for us to finally take a semi-nice family picture. Yes she did look cute. No teeny froufy dresses are not convenient on infants.

Other than that we've mostly just been trying to figure out how to work 8hrs a day on little sleep... And how to fit in as many squishy baby moments as possible.

June will be nuts (Birthday parties, friends visiting, flying across the country with a 4 mo old...oh yeah...) but I'll do my best to get back into the blogging groove - because I miss you people. And, believe it or not, there are still a few thoughts rattling around in my crazy head.

Kisses!
Mama Sarah

P.S. A million points if you can name the movie the title is from :)
